Hero Story and Lore
Zilong, also known as Yun Zhao, was born in the peaceful Cadia Riverlands. His early memories are of his father, a traveling craftsman, and his mother accompanying them on their journeys. However, tragedy struck when a violent wind destroyed their carriage during one of these trips, separating the young Zilong from his parents.
Left alone, Zilong wandered the desolate wastelands for seven days, showing remarkable resilience and determination to survive. On the brink of exhaustion, he was discovered by the Great Dragon, who took him to the magnificent Dragon Altar.
For seven years, Zilong lived and trained at the Dragon Altar alongside another student, Ling. When the time came for the Great Dragon to choose a successor, he surprisingly selected Zilong over the more talented Ling. The Great Dragon saw in Zilong a potential that others couldn’t perceive – a calm and resilient heart, an upright and brave personality, and a kind and selfless character.
At the age of eighteen, Zilong was bestowed with the Great Dragon Spear, the most prized treasure of the Dragon Altar. This signified the Great Dragon’s formal handover of the responsibility to guard the Cadia Riverlands to Zilong.
In the years that followed, Zilong traveled across the Cadia Riverlands, defending it from powerful invaders and earning a reputation as the people’s savior. However, his greatest challenge arose when Yu Zhong, his fated foe, returned with the power of the Black Dragon’s reversed scale.
Under the guidance of the Great Dragon, Zilong joined forces with Baxia, Ling, and Wanwan to form the Oriental Fighters, tasked with protecting their homeland from those who would destroy it.
Now, Zilong continues his journey through the Land of Dawn, supporting wise rulers and eliminating threats as decreed by the Great Dragon. His sense of justice, bravery, and unforgiving spear stand ready to face any evil that threatens the continent.
