The Tale of Yu Zhong: The Black Dragon’s Awakening
Origins and Early Life
Yu Zhong was born in the Cadia Riverlands, a land protected by the Great Dragon. As a young man, he trained at the Dragon Altar under the Great Dragon’s tutelage, alongside his brother Baxia. Yu Zhong was known for his adventurous spirit, often sneaking out of the altar to explore the world beyond.
The Fateful Encounter
During one of his adventures, Yu Zhong met Luo Yi, a mysterious woman who would change the course of his life. Luo Yi helped Yu Zhong uncover his sealed memories, revealing his true identity as the reincarnation of the Black Dragon.
The Black Dragon’s Legacy
In his past life, Yu Zhong was the fearsome Black Dragon, a powerful being who sought to dominate the Cadia Riverlands. The Great Dragon had sealed away the Black Dragon’s power and memories to maintain peace in the land.
Awakening and Transformation
With his memories restored, Yu Zhong set out to reclaim his power. He journeyed to the Forbidden Area of Dragon Soul, where the reverse scale—a source of immense power—was sealed. As Yu Zhong absorbed the power of the reverse scale, his body began to transform, merging with the essence of the Black Dragon.
Conflict with the Dragon Altar
Yu Zhong’s awakening and growing power alarmed the Great Dragon and his followers. Baxia, once Yu Zhong’s brother and friend, now stood against him as a defender of the Dragon Altar. A fierce battle ensued, leaving Yu Zhong mortally wounded.
Rebirth and New Alliances
Wanwan, a young warrior from the Tiger Clan, found the injured Yu Zhong and nursed him back to health. During his recovery, Yu Zhong shared his ambitions and memories with Wanwan, forming an unlikely friendship. Before departing to continue his quest, Yu Zhong left a part of his primordial spirit with Wanwan as a keepsake.
The Final Transformation
Yu Zhong’s plan came to fruition when he fully merged with the power of the reverse scale. In a climactic moment, as he teetered on the edge of losing control to the ancient Black Dragon’s consciousness, Wanwan arrived with his primordial spirit. This allowed Yu Zhong to maintain his sanity while fully embracing his Black Dragon form.
A New Era Begins
Now in complete control of his powers, Yu Zhong can shift between his human and dragon forms at will. With Luo Yi by his side, he sets out to reshape the Cadia Riverlands according to his vision, challenging the old order established by the Great Dragon.
Yu Zhong’s Mission
Yu Zhong believes that the Cadia Riverlands have grown weak under the Great Dragon’s protection. He aims to strengthen the land by overthrowing the existing power structures and establishing a new order under his rule. His ultimate goal is to face the Great Dragon in a final confrontation that will determine the fate of the Cadia Riverlands.
